Maybo's mission is to be global leaders in effective violence risk reduction training in the workplace.

Origins
Maybo was founded by Bill Fox in 1996. Since then Bill has recruited a team of around 30 people who have built on his initial ideas. The name 'Maybo' was taken from the boat, Maybo Eagle, that Bill lived in on the Thames during the early years.

Accreditation and qualifications
- BILD: Maybo's programmes for staff working with children and adults with learning disabilities are accredited by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) in the teaching of physical intervention skills.
- City & Guilds: For all programmes based on its core conflict management content Maybo is able to offer certification accredited by City & Guilds.
- Skills for Security: All Maybo's trainer training for the SIA licensable sectors are certified by Skills for Security
- BIIAB: For programmes for the SIA licensable security sector Maybo can offer certification accredited by BII (British Institute of Innkeeping).
